Marathon Finally Secures $12 Million Series B

LITTLETON, CO -- Marathon Technologies Corp announced the receipt of $12 million in second round funding.

The company makes software that protects Windows applications from downtime caused by failures or other outages.

Investors in the round were Sierra Ventures, Atlas Venture and Longworth Venture Partners.  The company plans to use the financing to continue development on its flagship product everRun, and to increase its international sales and marketing efforts.
